Another high-quality pitcher chased after 5 innings by the M's and Salk loves that they don't show the “roll over and die” mentality that we saw against better pitchers last season. Salk thinks Coach Macdonald seems like a bright guy and the defense looks awesome but still believes more in Jimmies & Joes vs X's & O's. Brock goes off the WIAA after the Girls Flag Football was voted down.

M's get an opening win behind another dominant George Kirby day regardless of a terrible umpire and we see some of the bats finally heating up. Brock found some Jim Harbaugh sound that convinced him that we would not have been able to handle talking to him every week for an entire season. Salk thinks it would have been a fun adventure. Brock was surprised to see that some of the hitters that are thriving right now (Steven Kwan, Luis Arraez, and Josh Rojas for the M's) have the slowest bat speed.
